RECOGNIZING OVARIAN HYPERSTIMULATION SYNDROME (OHSS)

Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) can be a potentially serious reaction that sometimes develops in women undergoing fertility procedures. This occurs when the ovaries are overly stimulated to fertility medications, resulting in a significant increase in size and fluid accumulation. Manifestations of OHSS can range from mild and include abdo
